1. Privacy Policy: Cubicflow respects your privacy. This page will outline our privacy practices and usage of information. The term "personal data" refers to personally identifiable information about you, such as your name, birth date, e-mail address or mailing address, and any other information that is identified with you personally.
2. Notification of Changes to This Policy: Cubicflow may from time to time update the privacy policy. We will notify you of these changes by posting a notice on our website.
3. Personal information collected through Cubicflow.com, the Cubicflow forums, and all directly associates properties: The only personal data that Cubicflow currently collects is that which you voluntarily give us, such as through your member registration. For example, when you register as a member of Cubicflow, you will provide us with a valid email address. You may also make available your MSN messenger account name, AOL Instant Messenger account name, or other pieces of information for social networking purposes for our community, which is highly encouraged. However, in most cases, you only are required to register your email address and username, as well as provide a password.
The only other personal information collected currently is via cookies, and browsing information such as your computer's operating system, internet browser, and location. This is used for statistical purposes only and to help us make Cubicflow better for you, our viewers and members. This type of data collected is Anonymous data, and does not identify you personally.
4. Passwords: While Cubicflow's databases stores your passwords for site functionality, these passwords are not directly viewable by any staff member through any normal administration means. In conjunction with our community forum software, administrators can only change passwords, not view current ones.
5. Use of Personal Data Collected Through Cubicflow.com and all directly associated properties:We do no sell or give out your name, email address, or any other personal information, whether the information is private or publicly viewable on your Cubicflow Profile.
We will, from time to time, send you emails based on upcoming Cubicflow events, promotions, developments, etc. You may choose to not receive these emails, by selecting "Do not receive emails from administrators" in your Cubicflow profile options. Cubicflow will not use your email address for anything outside of Cubicflow's imminent domain, and we will not give our mailing list out to anyone outside of Cubicflow.
6. IP Addresses: Your IP address(s) are logged for administrative purposes only. They are not publicly viewable to anyone outside of Cubicflow head staff.
7. Children and COPPA: In compliance with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, Title 15, Section 6501, et seq., of the United States Code), Cubicflow does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of thirteen without parental consent. In compliance with COPPA, children under the age of thirteen who wish to sign up as a Cubicflow community member at our forums must provide parental consent. The forum software is designed in such a way for when children under thirteen sign up for an account, the account is disabled until parental permission is received. The permission form is emailed to the email address provided by the registering individual. Our forum software currently uses phpBB, and your may visit their website at www.phpbb.com. 8. Children and targeted audience of Cubicflow: While Cubicflow is a COPPA compliant website, as shown above in #7, it should be noted that Cubicflow's target audience is NOT children under the age of thirteen. The Cubicflow Forums Registration Terms of Service state:
"While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.
You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
This forum system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any of the information you have entered above; they serve only to improve your viewing pleasure. The e-mail address is used only for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one)."
